DAVID GUARINO is co-founder and COO of Senior Housing Investment Partners, LLC. He performs financial modeling for investor’s returns and manages the applications infrastructure for the company. David is also involved with business development and valuations of potential  investments for our Partners, as well as the distribution of profits.

Michelle is on the Board of Directors of the Residential Assisted Living National Association, as well as the drafting committee for the Facilities Guidelines Institute – a national standards body for healthcare design guidelines.

Michelle works internationally to help governments institute reforms in construction permitting and land use policy. She is called upon by the United States government as a special consultant for construction issues.

Michelle is a RALS™ (Residential Assisted Living Specialist), a trained assisted living administrator, and has been recognized as an Industry Innovator by the Residential Assisted Living Academy. BRIAN J. PINKOWSKI, J.D. is the President of the Residential Assisted Living National Association.  He is also a commercial law attorney and environmental engineer with experience in the field of public health and the environment. He focuses on handling matters related to business formation and operation and has advised companies internationally at all stages of development.

Brian also offers specialized legal assistance and market analyses for assisted living businesses and investors across the nation.   Brian has been recognized as an Industry Innovator by the Residential Assisted Living Academy.

He is an experienced project manager and has negotiated with over 400 cities across the U.S. and managed projects worth over $800 million. He is the recipient of the U.S. Vice President’s Award for Reinventing Government for his ability to bring groups together to accomplish mutually beneficial community solutions. Brian has provided consulting for the U.S., U.K., Australia, Germany, and Japan and is skilled in handling legal and regulatory issues.

Brian has served on the board of the Lutheran Medical Center Community Foundation responsible for funding and managing hospice facilities and the Lutheran Medical Center Properties in Wheat Ridge, Colorado. He has also served on the Board of the Colorado Foundation for Public Health and Environment and on the Board of the Rocky Mountain Institute for Public Health and Environmental Leadership.

JIM GUARINO

During the past 30-years Jim has been a sought-after investment/finance/business advisor and has presented over 1,000 seminars throughout the United States for well over 100,000 participants. Today, he is recognized as one of America’s leading business, investment, and financial advisors in the field of senior housing. Jim is a licensed Assisted Care Living Facility Administrator, a certified Residential Assisted Living Specialist (RALS), he sits on the advisory board of RALNA (Residential Assisted Living National
Association).

Mr. Guarino has a diverse 40-year experience as an investor and business owner including residential and commercial real estate, secured cash flows (real estate and business notes), tax liens, securities (Series 7 retired license), businesses including digital media (sales and marketing, production, publishing, software development), business and financial education, authoring, professional speaking, investment consulting, and principle in senior care/assisted living related businesses.

DAVID GUARINO

David developed software systems for a number of small independent companies before focusing on trading systems for clients in NYC. While in New York he worked for Digital, Knight-Ridder Financial, Price Waterhouse, and KPMG, and has managed a number of trading system implementations for some of the major banks in the financial district.

Prior to his work in the financial software arena, David’s formal training was in the life sciences and he worked in the toxicology and immunology fields for a number of years. He has a B.S. in Biology from Syracuse University and a B.S. in Environmental Biology from SUNY College of Environmental Science in Syracuse, NY.
